BB creams are the new trend and when Maybelline was launched I got excited
to try it out. Maybelline is a well known brand, thus when I bought it I was really
excited to try it and today I am going to do a review on that. I bought the shade
“nude” because it was closest to my complexion I guess. There are only three
shades available. LRead on to know hot it fared. J
Before reading the review, let me tell you about my skin type.. my skin is oily
and prone to whiteheads. J

Makeup can make every woman look unique and is sure to make them look
attractive as well. It might be a nude colored lip gloss or a natural pink blush
that you have used to enhance your beauty. This Maybelline Clear Glow BB
Cream is an angel out of all as it hides all your skin imperfections and promises
to give you that youthful glow.
My experience with Maybelline Clear Glow bb Cream:
The bb cream comes in small teal colored plastic tube with pink cap on top.
It has a nozzle at top so that you can dispense the required amount of product.
The tube is small when compared to the price and it will only last for one month
when used daily, there are other bb creams in the market which are priced lower
and comes in huge quantity. The shaded I got is “nude” since it matched my skin
tone and it has a lotion-like consistency.
It is similar to a tinted moisturizer and when I applied it made me look all white
and ghostL. It leaved an OBVIOUS whitish caste on my face which looked
artificial. I washed it immediately and applied my tinted moisturizer which is
way better than this. I again tried it another day and this time I concentrated
on blending it well and it worked well but took around 15 minutes to get
absorbed. My hands were tired after but it evened out my skin tone. It dint hide
my blemishes and I needed a concealer for that. After 3 hours my face turned
into an oil factory and that was due to this BB cream. Overall, I am really unhappy
with it and I won’t recommend it to anyone.
I have heard good things about it but my experience was not good with it.
Pros:
- Contains SPF 21
- Moisturizes well
- Gives light coverage which makes it apt for everyday use
- Travel friendly
- Easily available
- Evens out skin
Cons:
- Limited shades to choose from
- Takes time (around 15 minutes) in blending
- Looks cakey after sometime
- It is essential to top it with powder
- Not for oily skin
- Contains parabens
- Pricey and less quantity, there are many bb creams at low price than this
TBLP Rating: 2/5
Recommendation: Dry skin can give it a try, but I would not recommend it to
oily skin and to those who want a quick everyday BB cream since it takes time
in blending.
