Colossal mascara is from a very popular makeup and cosmetic manufacturing brand Maybelline New York.Among a lot of mascara brands available in the market this ones from the house of Maybelline is making waves in the market.It offers lot of unique features like it is made up with collagen enriched formula seems quite a new thing to me.Also it is available in two different variants (waterproof and waterproof).So here's my review on Maybelline Colossal Mascara.

My take on Maybelline the colossal mascara - I have never been quite a great fan of mascara's but lately when I started using this mascara I look forward to using mascara quite often and not just occasionally.It accentuates and defines my large lashes more beautifully,the color pigment is very dark making it quite evident on eyes.It is a waterproof mascara and does stay for quite long even after washing your eyes.There are two variants of this mascara waterproof and non waterproof, I am reviewing the waterproof one here.The best part is it does not form lumps unlike other ones and just needs one coat to make them look best,though it is advisable to apply two coats of mascara for best results however with Maybelline colossal even one coat seems sufficient.Another good thing is the applicator brush which can be easily applied over upper and lower lashes.The only difficulty I had with it was while washing it off as it is a waterproof mascara,it cannot be washed off using plain water,one would require a baby shampoo or a makeup remover to remove it.Cannot say about the non waterproof variant as I haven't used it yet, do let us know if you have used it and how different it is from waterproof one.This is so far my HG mascara till now and I quite love it!!
What I liked -
1. Dark colored pigment,is evident and dark in just 1 coat.
2. Water proof,does not get washed off in rains or while washing face.
3. Easy availability.
4. Smooth and even application,no lumps formation.
5. Defines and accentuates eyelashes beautifully.
6. Does give volume to even scanty eyelashes.
7. Collagen enriched formula is new and nice.
What I disliked -
1. It does get difficult to wash off with just water.
2. Highly price when compared with other brands in the market.
TBLP Rating - 5/5
As I mentioned earlier this would be my HG mascara until I try other mascara like Lakme Eyeconic mascara or any other one. In spite of two dislikes I would still give it a 5 star rating as am in love with its ability to give volume and define lashes beautifully with just one coat!!Very promising product from a very popular brand Maybelline.
