Moisturizers are an important part of daily skincare regime,but moisturizing is not limited to face our body needs external layer of moisture no matter even if you are using a rich creamy body shampoo.
Some people use body oils to moisturizer and hydrate their skin while some opt for body lotions or creams.I like to use both(body lotion & body oil) on alternative days.With mercury levels soaring down all of us are in lookout for a good body lotion.So with this wise thought I'll review this body lotion from Lotus Herbals which i bought some time back.
Price : 225 INR for 300 ml ,can be bargained as Lotus Herbals keep offering discounts very often.
Key Ingredients : Vanilla Extract, Soy extract & Avocado extract. Though it contains lot other ingredients but as the list is long enough so i mentioned the key ones.
Product Claims : Vanilla Velvet body lotion is a combination of the moisturizing properties of Avocado, Soy with Vanilla to give your body intensive hydration along with that silky feel.Leaves your skin soft, smooth and healthy.
About Lotus Herbals Vanilla Velvet Body Lotion: Well i normally apply body lotion after shower on damp skin in summers and my skin is happy all day long but for winters i need to apply it twice.So with Vanilla Velvet body lotion even after applying it twice my skin looks dry and parched.I have to do extra effort with this body lotion which doesn't make me quite an happy soul.
It can be used as an ideal body lotion in spring & moderate summer season but i would not recommend it for extreme winters though.
Well my list of hits and misses are only for those products which i love or like so will give a miss for this one.
Recommendations: Frankly speaking no but people who are experimental can give it a try may be they are lucky enough and it would suit their skin.However i would rate it 3 out of 5.

I think this is so nice product for skincare, also I know a better company whose manufacture 100% natural body lotion it over 20 sents and it no harmful for body skin.
