Moisturising is a very important part of CTM regime,its a myth that people with oily skin should avoid using moisturisers.Its very important not only to cleanse your skin but to moisturise and keep it hydrated.People with oily skin should always look for water based or oil free moisturisers.I like to use organic or herbal products on my face and one brand which is very popular these days for its herbal beauty products is Lotus Herbals, so i tried few products from their herbal range out of which I'll review Lotus Herbals Alphamoist moisturiser.

Packaging : Comes in a sleek light yellow coloured spray bottle.Moisturiser is white in colour like other brands.I like the packaging as it is very hygienic to use spray bottles.
Ingredients : Water, Almond oil, Glyceryl Mono Hydroxy Stearate,Triticum Vulgare(Wheat Germ) oil, Light Liquid Paraffin, Vltis Vinifera (Grapes) Extract, Aloe barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Extract, Lactic Acid, Glycerin, Stearic Acid, Milk Enzymes, Sodium Lactate, Propylene Glycol, Ceto Stearyl Alcohol, Cetyl Alcohol, Triethanolamine, Tocopheryl Acetate, Methyl Paraben, Propyl Paraben, Fragrance.

About Lotus Herbals Alphamoist Moisturiser : I bought this moisturiser is summers because its an oil-free moisturiser but it made my skin look little shiny and sweaty so its not an ideal choice for oily skin in summers however people with dry skin can use it in summers as well.Though it did not break me out in summers but i prefer no shiny look on my face so i stopped using it then,what i dint quite like about the moisturiser was that it has strong fragrance which is a big no no for me when i buy any skincare products.It does a good job as a moisturiser but because i don't like its fragrance and it also contains parabens,i would prefer using it as a body lotion.
Hits :
1. Its an oil-free moisturiser.
2. It moisturises and hydrates skin well.
3. Easy availability.
4. Travel friendly.
5. No allergic reaction after using.
6. Did not break me out.
7. Hygienic packaging.
Misses :
1. Contains parabens.
2. Strong fragrance may irritate sensitive skin.
3. Makes face shiny in summers.
4. Expensive for the quantity it offers.
Recommendations : I would say there's no harm in trying the moisturiser as it might suit some oily skin and wont make face shiny like it did mine.It a good oil-free moisturiser though.
People who prefer no chemicals and Parabens in their product this ones not for you!!
