FabIndia Neem and Tulsi Face and Body Gel Scrub Review

 I knew Fabindia only for its clothes and dress material until the day i visited their store & found out that they are into manufacturing beauty products also.The cosmetic freak i am (sigh):)) so whatever caught my fancy,i could not resist buying them and bought few home.
The first product which i grabbed was Fabindia Neem and Tulsi face and body gel scrub.
  
 I wanted to review this product for all you readers,I have been using this product for over a month
 now and i absolutely love it!!

Packaging :  The product comes in a cute tub packing.I personally don't like tub packing for any cosmetic product as it becomes little unhygienic to use,every time you have to dig in your fingers to use the product.

Ingredients: Purified water, Propylene Glycol, Walnut Shell Powder, Carbopol 940, Aloe Vera Extract, Neem Leaves , Phenoxyethanol, Lactic Acid, Tulsi Oil, Allantoin, Neem Oil.

                                



This is my first Fabindia purchase,though i was little sceptical buying but i was lured to buy this one as it is a gel based face & body scrub which i have never used before. And what a purchase i must say this has become my ( HG) scrub so far :)))))))

I generally use it for my face,it has fine granular walnut shell powder which is not harsh on skin & can be used on sensitive/pimple prone skin but make sure you don't rub it too hard on your skin.The gel looks greenish in colour probably because it contains Aloe Vera extract and Neem oil &you can also find Neem leaves in it.I find its fragrance very earthy and heavenly but people who are allergic to fragrances might find it overpowering.

I am totally in love with this Fabindia scrub,it makes my skin super soft, bright and shiny.You would love to touch your skin from the first application itself.The best part of this scrub is that it is gel based so i don't have to worry about any breakouts.

The list of chemicals and parabens used in this product worry me a bit,but as "Thornton Wilder" rightly said "Every good thing in the world stands on the razor- edge of danger"
So i don't mind using this scrub with hell lot of chemicals in it as long as it does wonders to my skin.

Every product has its share of hits and misses and this one too has.Lets take a look at the hits and misses of Fabindia Neem and Tulsi face and body scrub.

1. What i like about this product is that is gel based,so perfect for oily/pimple prone skin and can be
      used on all skin types.
 
2.  Makes skin super soft,shiny and brings a glow to your face.

3.  Nice earthy fragrance.

4.  Quite economical & affordable.

5.  Easily available at all Fabindia stores.

6.  Cute packaging.


Misses

1. Not travel friendly,as the glass bottle may tend to break easily.

2. Lot of chemicals.

3. Not hygienic,as the product comes in a tub packaging.

4. As the product is a face & body scrub,the quantity is quite less for the price.


Recommendations :  I would definitely recommend this product to every one who like to try new
                                   products in the market.Yes i would consider repurchasing it,unless i find
                                   another (HG) scrub.Till then i am happy with my Fabindia Neem and Tulsi face
                                    and body scrub :)))) (Toothy Grin)
