This product is my first purchase from the brand Biotique Botanicals.Most of us must have heard about this brand and the wide range of Ayurveda products it manufactures.Ayurveda products have always been my first choice and will remain very close to my heart.I love to use Ayurveda products as they don't contain chemicals have longer shelf life and has therapeutic properties.I bought few products from Biotique recently which i would review later,but today I'll review "Bio Myristica Spot Correcting Anti-Acne Face Pack"
Price: 199 INR (25 gm) , but luckily i got it on discounted rates from a shopping website at 189 INR.
Packaging: It comes in a cute green coloured tub packaging and as i mentioned in my earlier post i quite like tub packaging.
Ingredients: Jaiphal (Myristica fragrans)2.0%, Pippli (Piper longum)5.0%, Haldi (Curcuma longa)1.0%, Chandan (Santalum album)2.5%, Geru (Red ochre)5.0%, Multani mitti (Fuller's earth)5.0%, Kikkar gaund (Acacia Arabica)3.0%, Himalayan Water Q.S.
Product Description: Myristica has been valued for centuries as an effective anti-bacterial and antiseptic agent.This spot correcting face pack treats pimples and helps control the bacteria that causes breakouts, redness and their skin irritations.Apply to cleansed skin,on affected areas only,morning and evening until skin is clear.

About Bio Myristica Spot Correcting Anti- Acne Face Pack: This pack needs to be applied only on the affected area.I have been using this pack from quite some time daily and the pack was helpful in reducing the size of zits and also the redness caused by it.I have stopped using it though because it did not help me much with post acne scars.The pack needs to be applied daily for effective results,the contents mentioned in the ingredients list are Ayurveda and natural so there's no worry of any side effects caused on the skin.What i liked most about this pack was that it also contains minute scrub particles which help in exfoliation.The fragrance is also very earthy and minty(it smelled of mint to me).The pack did not over dry my skin nor did it break me out.This pack is specifically for oily and acne prone skin though dry skinned people can also try it but it can be over drying for their skin.The pack did tingle my skin for few seconds after the application.The pack is half finished and is stacked somewhere in my cupboard,i would require it in next summers may be.
Hits:
1. Did help in reducing the zit size and the redness.
2. It does not over dry skin and makes it stretchy.
3. I loved the fragrance.
4. Contains minute scrub particles for exfoliation.
5. Travel friendly.
6. It did not cause any allergy or harm to my skin.
7. Easy availability.
Misses:
1. Expensive for the quantity it offers.
2. Less hygienic because of the tub packaging.
3. Quantity is quite less as it has to be applied daily.
4. Did not help with acne scars.
Recommendations: I would say a decent Anti-Acne pack, but the results are slow.However,i would like to try other products from biotique because they are 100% ayurvedic that's what the company claims.And I'll continue the hunt for my HG Anti-Acne pack.I would consider buying this pack again if i fail to discover a better Anti-Acne pack than this. :)))
